Why We Started Writing
Kickfolio began because match reports online had started to read the same: quick, vague, written before the final whistle. We wanted something slower, written by people who watched the whole game.
Every writer here works from their own notes, taken during the match, not from a highlights reel the next morning. An editor reads every piece before it goes live, and checks it against the stats and, where possible, against someone who was there.
We don't run sponsored posts, and we don't write for clubs or agencies. Readers pay nothing to read the archive, and every correction is left visible on the page it belongs to.
